AutumnLeaves LLC coordinated the sponsorship between the Barbados Tourism Authority and “Taste of the Nation”, one of Atlanta’s leading fundraising events developed by its benefiting charitable organization “Share our Strength” – a foundation dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America. On Thursday, May 3rd over 1200 of Atlanta’s top influencers and tastemakers congregated at the Georgia Aquarium - Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta to enjoy a night of gourmet food, wine, and a supreme live and silent auction. A five night trip for two to the authentic island of Barbados at Treasure Beach Resort, garnered a $5,500 bid by the live auction winner Julian Houston who beat out Chef Emeril Lagasse at $5,000. The event raised nearly $900,000.
