Country Club Plays Host to Culinary Event to End Childhood Hunger

Atlanta, Ga. (May 10, 2007) – Share Our Strength, one of the nation’s leading organization’s working to end childhood hunger in America, is asking for a hand to help make it’s next big event, Give Me Five, a huge success.  Bringing together 5 of Georgia’s best chefs and sommeliers, Sunday, July 22 will be a magical night for wine and food lovers as they dine and drink amid the gorgeous scenery of the brand new Lodge at Waterfall Country Club on Lake Burton outside Clayton, Georgia. 

Beginning at 5 p.m., this exemplary culinary experience will include a 5-course sit down dinner with each course prepared by one of Georgia’s best chefs.  Wine will be paired to perfection by Persimmon Creek Vineyards with commentary provided by 5 of the state’s most respected sommeliers.  Exciting items including a trip for two to Barbados will be up for bid at both a live and silent auction. Live entertainment. provided by Melanie and All That Jazz, will mesmerize the guests. Tickets are priced at $375 per person or $3500 for a table of 8 people.  All proceeds will benefit Share Our Strength.
